Left my house at 4 and change headign to the DC Metro. Ticket trouble trying to get a paper fare card, seems you can’t get one anymore. They are trapping you with Smartcrds, that process takes 10 minutes. Finnaly we board train and are set to head to venue. Chatting and nor paying attention along the way we realize we’ve missed our line change stop, by the time we realize the train is moving agin. Now weve overshot our stop by 2 stops. We exit and head back to where we need to be. We board the train to our destination and actuall make it there. We exit the tunnel, however when we get to street level it doesn't look like expected, turns out we exited the tunnel at the far end. We get our bearings straight and head towards the Lincoln Theater.
We arrive at Bens Chili Bowl for dinner. Seated at the far end of the counter (Same exact spot as last years Idol Concert) we place our order with the same guy as last year. Loaded Half Smokes with Chili Chees Fries. We chat and people watch as we enjoy our dinner. After dinner we exit onto the busy street. People are starting to enter the theater, so we find a spot in line and head into the venue. We decide on what T-shirts we will purchase. Then purchase 2 chances to will a Satriani Signed guitar and  trip  supporting Little Kids Rock. Show is about to start so we head to our seats. We’ve got great seats, almost center row K.
Joe and band hit the stage. Setlist is below. The show goes well and sounds good, the band energetic and it appears they are having a great time.

Iron Maiden Book of Souls Tour ?

Ed Fore One Model 757

Been wanting one of these Iron Maiden ED Force One Model planes from the Somewhere Back In Time Tour 2008 – 2009 forever. They are hard to locate and they are expensive. I struck a deal with a fellow Iron Maiden fan from the UK who was advertising a mint condition unit. I paid $5 more than I wanted to, but if the unit arrives as described, it will be worth it. A few conversations later and a PayPal transaction. I am the proud owner of one. It’s left the UK heading to New York right now. I am excited. More when It arrives.

What a great night. Started the night with a shot of Fireball, then some Deep Eddy Ruby Red. That stuff is delicious. Time to hit the road! Road trip to Leesburg for dinner and another great Crack the Sky show at The Tally Ho Theater. We listened to a new to us guitarist on the way, Charlie Parra, from Peru. Dining was at the Leesburg Public House, one of Leesburgs finest places to eat. We sat at the bar for faster service on a crowded night, as we were running late. After Dinner off to the show. As usual the band performed in their unique style. Not a large crowd. We stood up front right with the band. Of course the band recognized us. A great night as usual with my good friend, Rob Lang. After the show a picture with Bobby as he came to greet us.
