Billy Idol | Lincoln Theater | 01/25/2015

Billy Idol
Tour - Kings & Queens of the Underground
Venue - Lincoln Theater, Washington, DC | 01/25/2015
Attendance - Myself | Rob Lang

Rob and I attended the Billy Idol show at the Lincoln Theater in Washington DC on January 25th.  A chilly evening. What a great night!  We took the Metro to arrive for dinner at Ben's Chili Bowl where we grabbed some chili dogs and fries, dinner was delicious. Then the show. We stepped outside and a line had already formed for the theater. We got in line and waited for the doors to open. An hour later we were allowed inside.
Let me just say, Idol was on tour for his new album, Kings and Queens of the Underground. It is a fantastic album, I enjoyed seeing him play content from the new album as well as all the old Idol favorites. For a 59 year old man, Idol still has it! The sneer, the snicker, the voice, the scream. It's all there! Seeing Steve Stevens as the driving force behind the hits was fantastic as well.
