Great evening ended when we left to go home. I took the metro and thought this was the easiest way in and out of DC. When i went to return on the train to New Carolton, the station was closed! I hauls up the steps from the entrance to the metro looking for Daryl, there were tons of people out that night. I headed up the street away from the station as I new Daryl was going that way.I saw hin far ahead of me. I called but there was too much commotion and he could not hear me. I finally caught up to hin and grabbed his shoulder, he was surprised. I told him that I was stranded and there wasn't a train to take me home. I was panicking. he calmed me down and told me he would get me home

Gay and Keith arrive shortly after 6. We have a few slices of pizza and we toast a shot of fireball for the start of a great evening. a little relaxing and some catching up and we are off.  We arrive at the Fillmore, and it is crowded. Lots of Iron Maiden t-shirts! Bathroom and beer breaks and off to scout a place to stand. We locate a spot on the second level with a fairly good view. Megadeth comes on after the opening band. Hangar 18 is the opener, the crowd is pumped (setlist below) A fun night with what I consider to be a great setlist. Thanks to Gary Gribble and Keith for spending the evening with me. A great time!

Left my house at 4 and change headign to the DC Metro. Ticket trouble trying to get a paper fare card, seems you can’t get one anymore. They are trapping you with Smartcrds, that process takes 10 minutes. Finnaly we board train and are set to head to venue. Chatting and nor paying attention along the way we realize we’ve missed our line change stop, by the time we realize the train is moving agin. Now weve overshot our stop by 2 stops. We exit and head back to where we need to be. We board the train to our destination and actuall make it there. We exit the tunnel, however when we get to street level it doesn't look like expected, turns out we exited the tunnel at the far end. We get our bearings straight and head towards the Lincoln Theater.
We arrive at Bens Chili Bowl for dinner. Seated at the far end of the counter (Same exact spot as last years Idol Concert) we place our order with the same guy as last year. Loaded Half Smokes with Chili Chees Fries. We chat and people watch as we enjoy our dinner. After dinner we exit onto the busy street. People are starting to enter the theater, so we find a spot in line and head into the venue. We decide on what T-shirts we will purchase. Then purchase 2 chances to will a Satriani Signed guitar and  trip  supporting Little Kids Rock. Show is about to start so we head to our seats. We’ve got great seats, almost center row K.
Joe and band hit the stage. Setlist is below. The show goes well and sounds good, the band energetic and it appears they are having a great time.
